This year, the HC football team has seen improvement. New coaches and management have helped the team stay in a positive mindset and helped them stay conditioned. This has set them up for success. The team has worked hard in their off season, creating a close knit team and becoming stronger. HC football players senior Charley Pennell, junior Patrick Beya show their opinions on the team’s new system as well as junior football team manager Sneha Bhattarai has shown that the HC football team has, and will continue to grow as a better team.
So far the team’s season has had a few bumps in the road, but the team has worked hard together and pushed to become stronger and better.
“It’s been a great season [so far].’” Bhattarai said “[This year we have new coaches and a new program and they have been building up the team to become stronger,” Bhattarai said.
“its not been going the way we want it to go, [but] I like the new coaches,” Pennell said.
“ [The season so far] has been hard but it’s been fun.” Beya expressed.
This year, the HC football team has brought in new coaches after the retirement of coach Demetrius Gay. They have brought in new ways of coaching and are working hard to lead the team to victory. The team believes the new coaches have helped build the team and become better.
“The [new] coaches are great, they know how to keep the team together, keep them working and have brought many new opportunities to our football team.”said Bhattarai
”I love the new coaches they are fun to be with, and the [new] management it’s nice because now we have extra help.” said pennell
“ The [new] coaches are nice and honest with the team,And the managers are [nice] and really help bring our team together.” said Beya
Compared to last year’s season, our team has worked harder towards their goals and has prepared a new system. Getting the team together and pushing hard at practices has helped them grow in strength. The outcomes of HC’s games have changed and the team only has room to get better.
“The size of our team has decreased, but the intensity of our team [has changed],” said Pennell.
“The score board has looked a lot different this year, and our team’s hard work is paying off.” said Beya.
This has brought many changes to the HC football team. They have been having double the practices and getting the team together as much as possible, even in the off season. The team works hard to become better and stronger.
“I think there has been big changes with some new players and with the new coaching staff.” said Bhattarain “We have gotten new players who have never played before and this season they have shown growth as players.” Said Pennell “ The team is now in the weight room a lot more and working towards a stronger, better team. There is also a lot more diversity on our team.” said Beya ” The team works hard and shows they want a good season through their hard work lifting weights and conditioning.” Said Pennell “ the team spends a lot of time together to become closer and we do lots of conditioning.” said Beya
The HC football team has worked hard toward a better season and looking forward to their new season they believe that the team will only go up from here and that this year has built the foundation for many more amazing seasons to come.
