On March 12, 2026, Hulu released the fourth season of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” (SLOMW). This new season had more drama between Momtok then ever before, but also led to controversy surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul, one of the Mormon Wives.
The season began by showing viewers that Jen Affleck and Whitney Levitt are now on “Dancing with the Stars.” It also showed the other moms, as well as the dads, going to Los Angeles to support Affleck and Levitt. This led to many fights, arguments, and tears shed at their house.
Viewers also find out that Paul was chosen to be the next Bachelorette. Paul spends the season preparing for “The Bachelorette,” however, she is still continuing her toxic cycle with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Dakota Mortensen.
During the middle of the new season, Demi Engemann, the “villian” of the past few seasons, decided to quit filming once again. This ruined her relationship with the SLOMW while further damaging her online reputation and social media fanbase.
Hulu was already beginning to film season 5 of the new season. However, with the recent surfacing of Paul’s domestic violence charges, and a video being released, filming has come to a complete stop. This decision was made by producers, as well as the cast themselves. ABC also cancelled the new season of “The Bachelorette,” featuring Paul, due to the release of the video.
Fans have started to pick sides and form opinions after the charges went viral online. Some are even choosing to excuse Mortensen’s toxicity following Paul’s alleged domestic violence.
Overall, the new season has brought forth lots of new information surrounding all of the Mormon Wives, and fans are very curious to see what happens next.
