On February 20, 2026, Megan Moroney released her third studio album, “Cloud 9”. This album was released with 15 songs, one of them being her single “6 Months Later.” The album was released by Columbia Records through Sony. “Cloud 9” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. With this ranking, the album was Moroney’s first number-one album.
Out of the 15 songs, two were sung with featured artists. “I Only Miss You” featured Ed Sheeran, and “Bells & Whistles” featured Kacy Musgraves. This is Moroney’s first time featuring other artists in an album.
Moroney has announced that she will be going on her “Cloud 9” tour. Her opening day is May 26 in Columbus, OH and her tour will come to a close on October 1 in Belfast, UK. She will be hitting major cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Nashville. She is also touring internationally to cities including Stockholm, Paris, Manchester, and Glasgow. 19 out of 50 shows are sold out already.
This tour isn’t Moroney’s first time hitting the stage. Her first tour was the “Pistol Made of Roses Tour” in spring of 2023. This was her first sold-out headline tour. Furthermore, “The Lucky Tour” in fall of 2023 supported her debut album “Lucky.” She then did a follow-up tour called “The Lucky 2.0 Tour” in spring and summer of 2024, hitting additional cities she missed during her debut tour. Finally, her most recent tour, the “Am I Okay? Tour” in 2025 with her second album “Am I Okay?.” This album made many stops around the U.S., including a show at Radio City Music Hall.
Along with her headline tours, Moroney has made appearances at many concerts and festivals.She opened for Brooks & Dunn in 2023 and Kenny Chesney in 2024. Over her career, Moroney has performed at major festivals including Stagecoach, Lollapalooza, CMA Fest, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. As for local appearances, she performed this past summer at Bourbon and Beyond, a festival held in Louisville, Ky.
Overall, “Cloud 9” has continued to grow Moroney’s success as an artist. She has over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and this success will make these numbers climb.
