Stranger Things season five excites fans with the upcoming release of volume two.

Volume one of Stranger Things season five released on Netflix on November 26, 2025. The first four episodes of the new season had many twists and turns, leaving fans on a huge cliffhanger. Since then, a new trailer has been released for volume two, which will be released on December 25, 2025. 

Before volume one was released, the first five minutes of episode one was released as a trailer. Fans found out that Vecna and Will are connected, and Will is essentially a spy for Vecna. This carries on throughout the season as he sees through the eyes of demogorgons and helps find out who Mr. Whatsit is.

Chapter Four, titled Sorcerer, ended with Vecna coming into the right side up, from the upside down to get the rest of the kids he needs from the military base. Demogorgons were capturing those kids, and bringing them into the upside down. At the very end of the episode Will saves all of his friends by using his powers that he got from Vecna and he contorted the demogorgons the same way Vecna does. 

Also during this episode, Eleven finds her sister in the upside down, number eight (Kali). The trio of Eleven, Kali, and Will sets up a promising team to fight against Vecna and the military. However with the new trailer, fans are worried about the deaths of many of their favorite characters in the show. 

The Finale of Stranger Things is set to be released on December 31, and will also be streaming in movie theaters for fans to watch. Fans are sad for the show to come to and end, but can’t wait to see how it ends.
