ACT+is+coming+on+March+12th%3A+What+can+you+do+to+prepare

As ACT is almost here, Sophomores and Juniors would be studying and preparing for their upcoming big test coming March 12th. This test will be about four and a half hours and it will be in your advisory. It will cover English, Math, Reading and Science. There are ways to study for the ACT, there are still some students who might have a hard time finding the best way to study for the ACT. Kevin Wooten, a math teacher at Henry Clay explains the top three tips to best study for the ACT.

Tip number 1: Take the ACT many times. Taking the ACT once allows you to understand what the questions are like and what to expect during the next ACT. The more you take it you would be more ready and more prepared for the ACT.

Tip number 2: Take ACT practice tests. Taking ACT practice tests would greatly help you understand and do better for ACT. The practice tests that’s most recommended are subjects that are not your strongest, for example if math isn’t your thing, do practice tests on that subject.

Tip number 3: Read the entire question before answering. Reading the entire question allows you to understand the question better than just taking a guess. This method is best for word problems for math. The reason is because reading the math question really gives you a idea of what you have to solve and have to do to answer that question.

There are more useful ACT tips to use as well, for example there is a website called https://kyvl.org/high. This site gives you the ability to practice ACT on all subjects. I hope this information has helped you give you an idea of what to do to prepare for the ACT.
