Prom season is coming up; Here’s the latest details

Tania Pacheco-Reyes, Editor

Prom season is slowly but surely approaching. To every upperclassman at HC, Prom is a very anticipated event.

This year’s prom will be taking place Saturday, May 14th from 8 pm to 11 pm. Due to district protocols and covid regulations, the district is required for schools to host an outdoor prom. Prom will be held on campus under a tent, similar to last year. The theme has yet to be determined.

Both Seniors and Juniors will be able to purchase tickets this year. Tickets will go on sale the last week of April and will close on May 6th. Those who attend alternative programs at other schools and attend HC will be able to purchase tickets after school (dates are yet to be determined).

Nominations for Prom Queen and King will open on the week after Spring Break. Voting for Prom Queen and King will take place at the same time ticket sales begin.

Senior Class officers are selling Old Kentucky Chocolates in order to raise more money for prom. Any support offered will all go to Prom.

More information about the prom is soon to come. Look for Prom posters to go up after Spring Break.
