Sean John Combs, P. Diddy. Diddy is a popular 90s and early 2000s rapper. Diddy, known for his rap songs, has released many different songs, one in 1917 released with the name “It’s All About The Benjamins” and more. On November 16th, 2023, singer and model Cassandra Ventura also known as Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy for both sexual and physical abuse Ventura also claimed that Combs would regularly beat her , and would lead to Ventura dealing with major injuries.
Ventura has also revealed information about the “ freak off’s “ Diddy would throw ,where she described these parties as drug fuelled, days-long sexual performances which Combs allegedly coerced women into, and filmed for his own pleasure. She even said that most of these incidents were witnessed by his “ tremendously loyal network “ .
Combs denied the allegations, and accused Ms Ventura of extortion which led to the case being disclosed for a while after it was filed in New York ,this wasn’t the end of this case . Throughout 2024, more evidence and accusation came out, stating in February mister combs was accused of grooming. After music producer Rodney Jones Jr sued Combs accusing the star of unwanted sexual contact and forcing him to participate in sexual acts. Claiming that combs had tried to groom him, and saying that it was a normal practice in the music industry. Though he wasn’t the only person to testify against mister combs, over the next few months, multiple celebrities and people had testified against him.
As if things couldn’t get any worse, on October 5th ,2024, someone leaked the list of celebrities and influencers that had attended the parties over 150 names were on the list including Jay-Z, Beyonce, and a lot more popular artists.
As of recently combes was convicted on two counts of transportation for purposes of prostitution a sentence that carries a maximum of 10 years. Prosecutors have asked for a minimum of 11 years but Combs’ lawyer argued that the sentence would be too much. In the end Sean John Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation of prostitution and sentenced to 4 years and 50 months in prison.
