This year’s Boys’ Volleyball season is coming and excitement is building among the players, coaches, and fans. Last year, the team was 5th in the state tournament, which leaves much to look forward to this year. A mix of new players and experienced ones such as Gray Millar have been preparing. Millar is the tallest on the team as a junior, and plays the position outside hitter.
“Our captains are really inclusive and are always trying to do as much as they can for the team,” Millar said.
Millar enjoys playing for the team. He values the leadership and chemistry on the team, which are good characteristics to play with.
“We all work together and we all want to be there and have fun, [but also to win],”Millar said.
The team came 2nd in a tournament at Western Hills, which was full of amazing memories for the team.
“We had a tournament in Western Hills and that was really fun because we all just got to run around and play all the games. We almost won the whole thing, but we got second and it’s okay because we had fun,” Millar said.
With the newly released schedule for the season, the team would appreciate support at their games.
