With Valentine’s Day coming up next week people are rushing to ask a special someone to be their valentine and find plans for that day. On this day couples usually make dinners or go out, and if they don’t have a date hang out with friends.
Many people celebrate this holiday by going out with their significant other, friends, or family. They could spend time together one on one, go out to a nice dinner, or just hang out at a fun area like an arcade or mini golf.
Traditional gifts that are given to show love to a significant other. Popular ones include chocolates, stuffed animals, flowers, or home made cards.
Some of the most traditional candies given are conversation hearts. The little heart candies have cute messages like “I love you” or “XOXO.” Krispy Kreme always sells different doughnuts for different holidays. They just dropped a dozen of flower doughnuts gifted in a bouquet box as a Valentine’s Day special.
Chick-Fil-A has also dropped heart trays you can choose what they are filled with. Your options consist of 10 chicken minis, 6 chocolate cookies, 30 chicken nuggets, or 12 brownies. Only dropped for limited time
Valentine’s Day became a traditional holiday in 1849, mainly focused on the idea of Cupid shooting his arrow at two people bringing them together and then falling in love. From then on it became a holiday where people come together and show gratitude for each other.
