Many students are looking forward to Fall Break coming up. This gives them a break from school and the opportunity to travel. However, some might be staying in Lexington. There are many activities here in Lexington to choose from to keep you entertained during the break.
Lexington has a variety of arcades, bowling, and food. Main Event, Malibu Jacks, Lexlive, and Champs all offer these things. Main Event and Malibu Jacks are both located off of Nicholasville Rd. These establishments are primarily arcades and bowling. Lexlive is located at 301 S Broadway. They also have an arcade and bowling alley, as well as a movie theater and sports bar. Champs is located at 297 Ruccio Way. While they don’t have a bowling alley they do have roller skating!
Some more active activities are Activate games and Sky Zone. Activate is located at 2312 Sir Barton Way. Activate consists of light up games that require you to jump, climb, and problem solve. You can go in a group of 2-5 in each game. Sky Zone is located at 3644 Boston Rd. Here you can jump, flip, play dodgeball, shoot some hoops, and more. These are some good places to get some energy out.
If you are wanting to get outside you could visit Red River Gorge. While this can be a drive it is certainly worth it. Red River Gorge has an abundance of trails to hike. These trails have different levels of difficulty so anyone can go and have a great time. Red River Gorge also has great sites to see such as the famous natural bridge. There are also some great restaurants in the area that you could stop at such as, Miguel’s Pizza, Cliffview cafe, and RedPointe Barbeque.
