Dancing With The Stars is coming out with their 33rd season on Tuesday, September 17th. It can be watched on ABC and Disney Plus at 8/7c. DWTS is a dancing show where celebrities are picked to dance to try to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy. There are 13 couples hitting the dance floor next week. Half are returning pros that have danced on previous seasons and the other half are well beloved celebrities. The hosts for the show are Juliana Hough and Alfonzo Riberio, along with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough as judges. Every week the couples get assigned a type of dance and they are judged based on their performance. Sometimes there are different themes they have to incorporate into their dances. They get scored on a scale of 1-10 from each judge and if they have the lowest score by the end of the night, they are out.
DWTS has many well known celebrities on the show, but these six celebrities are the ones that need to be watched on the dance floor. They are well known athletes and actors from the past decades.
- Chandler Kinney
Actress Chandler Kinney will be dancing alongside her partner Brandon Armstrong. Kinney is 24 years old and is from Sacramento, California. She is best known for featuring in Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2, Lethal Weapon, and HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
- Joey Graziadei
Joey Graziadei will be dancing with Jenna Johnson. He is 29 years old and his hometown is Royersford, Pennsylvania. Graziadei is best known for being seen on 9-1-1, the Bachelor, and the Bachelorette.
- Ilona Maher
Olympic bronze medalist Ilona Maher will be dancing with Alan Bersten. Maher is 28 years old and is from Burlington, Vermont. Maher plays rugby for Team USA and recently came back from competing in the Olympics in Paris.
- Dwight Howard
Basketball Player Dwight Howard will be competing alongside Daniella Karagach. Howard is from Atlanta, Georgia and is 38 years old. Howard plays center for the Los Angeles Lakers.
- Stephen Nedoroscik
Olympic Bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik will be dancing with Rylee Arnold. Nedoroscik is from Worcester, Massachusetts and is 25 years old. Nedoroscik competes as an individual on the USA Men’s Gymnastic Team in the pommel horse event.
- Danny Amendola
Danny Amendola will be dancing alongside Witney Carson. Amendola is from The Woodlands, Texas and is 38 years old. Amendola is a wide receiver for the Houston Texans.
This season of DWTS will be exciting and will have something new to look forward to every week. All of these celebrities work very hard to prepare themselves for the show, and their hard work will show off on the dance floor.
