
On August 29, Sabrina Carpenter released her new album “Man’s Best Friend.” This is her seventh studio album which was released by Island Records. John Ryan and Jack Antonoff helped produce the new album along with her previous one, “Short n’ Sweet.” Antonoff also has experience producing with many other beloved artists such as Taylor Swift, Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and Lana Del Rey. “Man’s Best Friend” broke the record for most-streamed album in a single day by a female artist in 2025.
There are 12 songs on “Man’s Best Friend,” including her hit single “Manchild” that was released on June 5, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100. She also released a bonus track titled “Such a Funny Way.” Carpenter also has announced the continuation of her “Short n’ Sweet Tour” to perform her new songs live across the continent, starting this fall.
On September 9, Carpenter attended the Video Music Awards (VMA) and was nominated for eight awards. She won three awards including Album of the Year for “Short n’ Sweet,” Best Pop Artist, and Best Visual Effects for her song “Manchild.”

She signed with Island Records in 2021 and released her fifth album “Emails I Can’t Send” in 2022. Carpenter continued to shine when she opened for Taylor Swift on “The Eras Tour” in 2024. After that she released her hit single “Espresso” and debuted her new album “Short n’ Sweet.”
